Today, I spent most the day driving. Right now im in the hotel. This will be my last post until sept 4th, but I guess technically, this is the first day of my vacation. Tomorrow, my flight leaves at 7ish and I have to wake up at 3: 30. I plan to arrive in Florida at 1ish, go to Magic Kingdom, and then eat at the Kona Cafe. I guess you'll find about that september 4th. 

I haven't wrote in the last couple days because I was in moncton. Today, I have quite a bit to talk about. But before I get to that, i'll talk about this weekend.

This weekend, I had a baseball tournament in moncton. I stayed up at my aunts for the night on friday. We played a game on friday against hampton and lost 12-9. I went 0-3 with a walk. After that game, I realized I suck at hitting. After that, I ate at McDonalds, went back to my aunts, played ticket to ride with my family, played kdice on there imac, and went to bed. 

On saturday, we had a game at 1. I sat out that game and we won 15-3 against baie-saint-anne. Hayden hit a walk off home run so that was cool. We had another game at 4 that I played in. I played 3rd base the start of the game, and left field at the end. I went 2-3 with a walk so I hit a lot better. But, we lost 14-4. We were supposed to play on sunday against KV, but hurricane bill came along so now my team plays next weekend. I won't be there of course because im going to florida, but if they win that we still have a chance at the provincials. 

So today, I played kdice like usual. I have no play over 150 games of kdice according to my stats, and each game lasts around 15 minutes. According to my math thats 2250 minutes. Or 37.5 hours. Or 135000 seconds. Anyways, thats a lot of time but I love the game.

We also spent all day getting packed for our florida trip which we leave for tomorrow. Then I had a 3-way convo and it was one of the crazyiest of my life. Let's just say I don't like anyone anymore. 

So about florida. Tomorrow, I am leaving to portland. The hotel will probably have high speed internet but chances are that will be my last post until I come back, sept 4th. But my plan is to write a paragraph or two everyday, and post one day at a time for the days when I come back. Anyways, it should be a fun trip and when I get back it will almost be time for school. 

Tomorrow, I have to go to Moncton to play baseball. I play in a tournament that lasts all weekend. If we get 1st or 2nd, then we go to the provincials in river valley. I think we have a pretty good chance. We've played 2 of the teams already, and one of the teams we've played and beat, played a team thats in the tournament and beat them. I hope that I will get to play in all the games, and that I hit the ball good. I tried to different bats today and practice and hit home runs with both, so I think i'll try one of those bats in the tournament.

Anyways, today I had a practice and then came home and played kdice all day. Kdice is a game similar to risk, that only uses dice. There are 7 players in a game and 30 or so territores on the map. The goal of the game is to take over. To take over, you have to attack the other players. There is 1-8 dice on a territory and if you have 2 dice you can attack. To attack, you click on your territory and the territory you feel like taking over. The winner is the higher dice roll. Check it out at www.kdice.com.

Well my trip is almost here, and im excited. I will write on my laptop a bit every day and post it on here after my trip. Im in the middle of a kdice game so thats all for now.

Well I think im liking the idea of lists, so today im gonna do my top 10 movies. 

Well today, I had a baseball practice at 10am again so I had to wake up early. Then I hung out with kenny for awhile (i taught him vaders theme on piano). After that, I printed a custom map for the board game "Ticket to Ride". Its a map of the UK. I beat my nana at that twice and then cataloged my pressed pennies from Florida (I have 128).

Anyways, the top 10 list. Like the other lists, this could change tomorrow and im probably missing a movie or two but hey, here it is.

1. Forrest Gump - This is a funny thoughtful movie. I've probably seen this 10 times but it never gets old. I don't expect this to change for awhile. Tom Hanks is awesome in this movie. After I saw the movie, I listened to the audiobook and its just as good. Amazing. Rated 8.6/10 (the #43 best movie of all time) on imdb.com

 2. It's a Wonderful Life - This is the best Christmas movie ever. I just saw this one for the first time last Christmas (probably cause it's 3 hours long and I would get bored of that before). It is an amazing movie and the actor who plays the main character is amazing. Im going to download the radio drama someone made for this movie. Rated 8.7/10 (#32 of all time) on imdb.com

3.  The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - This movie just came out recently. I don't know why I like it so much, but its really really good. Rated 8.1/10 (#200 of all time) on imdb.com

4. Slumdog Millionaire - Another fairly recent movie. A kid is accused of cheating on the india verison of "Who wants to be a millionaire?" so he has to explain how he knows all the answers. Rated 8.5/10 (#72 of all time) on imdb

5. A Bug's Life - I know this is a kid's movie. I know this is animated. I used to love this movie when I was younger. It was my favorite movie and i'd watch it over and over and you can't beat the short film at the start. Pixar is amazing. 7.3/10 on imdb.com (not in top 250)

6. Star Wars - A lot of people like The Empire Strikes Back better, but A New Hope is really the best in my opinion. This is the best science fiction there is. The whole series is great though. This also has the best radio dramas, because the radio dramas explain the story better then the movie itself. Rated 8.8/10 (#12 of all time) on imdb.com

7. Jackass Number 2 - Some people probably hate jackass because they think it's stupid, but I like it. I like it so much that I did a speech about it in grade 7. My french teacher (who had a grudge against me) got my in trouble for saying the word like 5 times during the speech. Rated 7.2/10 (not in top 250) on imdb

8. Air Guitar Nation - I don't think very many people know about this movie. It is a documentary about the Sport of Air Guitar. It is an amazing movie and after dropped it off at movie gallery, I wanted to go and rent it again. It's really good and eveyone should watch it. Rated 7.2/10 at imdb.com (not in top 250) 

You know I can't think of 10 right now. Maybe when im lying in bed I'll think of something but for now im stumped.

My internets not working right now and i'm not sure why. Maybe i'll just post this tomorrow or something. But right now its Tuesday around 11:08 so ya.

Today I had to get up early because I had baseball at 10. I went to sleep around 2 last night and woke up at 9, so im pretty tired right now. I have another practice tomorrow and on thursday. Then Friday, Saturday, and Sunday i'll be in Moncton for a baseball tournament. If we get first or second in that, then we go to the provincials in river valley.

Well today I thought i'd talk about tv a bit. Not really history or crap, because I don't have internet so I can't look anything up. I'll just state my opinion on some shows and things.
So tv, everyone watches it right? Theres the crazy soap operas and the reality shows and dramas and sports and news and weather and sitcoms and game shows and a lot of other crazy things. The show I watch the most is probably Sportcentre, because I have watched it every day before I go to school since I was in grade 1. I like sports a lot and anything that can give you highlights and scores and news is a pretty good show.

Sorry, but I thought of a crazy idea, im gonna rank my top 10 tv shows of all time, as of right now. That could mean that tomorrow it changes so ya.

1. Friends - I've seen every single episode of this show, and sometimes when its on tv i'll just watch it. I don't think I need to explain the show to much because it used to be really popular.

2. Big Brother - I probably got brainwashed to like this show because when you think about a show of 12ish people living together in a house for the whole summer, and they take a person out every week, it doesn't seem that interesting. But I like it even though this season isn't as good as some. I've seen every season since the second.

3.*insert a game show of the day here* - If I really wanted to, I could fill this list up with game shows. I used to be addicted to game shows (and still kind of am). Game show network was my most watched channel. My least favorite game show is weakest link. Some of my favorites are: Who wants to be a millionaire, Family Feud, To Tell the Truth, Dog Eat Dog, Price is Right, and Match Game.

4. Sportcentre - Already talked about this. I like the sportcentre top 10's because I like lists.

5. Survivor - Another brainwasher. The same idea as Big Brother except your in the wild instead of in a house.

6. The Wonder Years - This show came out in 1992. The only reason I know about this show is because my gramp gets the channel Deja vu. If I was alive when this show came out, I think it would be my favorite. Its the story of a kid about my age going through junior high and high school. I like it a lot.

7. The Amazing Race - The last of the brainwashers. This ones neat because they travel across the world though.

8. Pros vs Joes - Its funny how those Joes go up there all cocky, and lose to old pro athletes. This show takes some of the best athletes, and 3 average guys who think they can beat them play them (and then get beat) at that athletes sport. I watched 5 episodes in a row of this, and they are an hour long, so it must be pretty good.

9. *insert a sport here* - A good announcer of a game can really make a difference. I think I like to watch The Olympics the best but besides that I like to watch - Track and Field, Baseball, Hockey, Basketball, Football and Skateboarding.

10. The Simpsons - My cartoon of choice. I was thinking family guy at first, or maybe even South Park, but then realized that I have more fun watching the simpsons then any of the other 2.

Wrote some last night (i was in St. George 2 nights ago)

Well I guess I have quite a bit to talk about. I want to talk about what I did yesterday and today, and about radio dramas so I guess I better get started.

Yesterday, I was on my computer editing this picture when my nan walked in and asked "Do you want to go to the cottage in St. George for the night?" I had to think that over because it was already 6 at night and getting late. Eventually, I was convinced because I wanted to go water skiing because I've never done it before.

I got there around 7 and on the way up listened to a podcast.

When I got there I went water skiing right away. It took me 5 try's to get up out of the water. When I actually got up, I only went about 5 feet before falling again. Then I watch my little cousin do it like nothing. After that, we went and looked for the eels that were near the dock. That night we spent an hour trying to catch one, with no luck. Then I went into the cottage, read my cousins a book, watch a bit of some sort of a movie (i forgot the name so it probably wasn't memorable) then went to bed.

The next day, I was woke up by 2 screaming kids playing there DS. Even worse, it was 7am. I told them to be quiet and half-slept till 9, when I was woke up by them (this time they were told to). We went out to eat at a restaurant in the St. George mall. When we got back from eating, I went swimming with 6 or so little kids for an hour or 2. Then this guy my age who i'd played soccer with before named Brandon showed up. He went water skiing while I watched on the boat. After about 5 try's he got up and stayed up for a long time.

Then, it was my turn. I tryed with the ski's he was using but didn't like them, so we went back and got the bigger pair. Finally, I got up and stayed up for a long time. When I finally fell, I was proud of myself.

We went swimming some more and saw the eels, and after about an hour of trying, brandon cauht one. I grabbed the line and pulled to into a bucket of water. I tryed to take the hook out, but it was on really good so I broke the line. We let him back in the bucket and I tryed to get the hook out again. He floped around and the hook just fell out. Then I played washers for awhile and came back home.

Anyways, I wanted to talk about radio dramas today. Before the time of television, people listened to shows on there radios for fun. They started around 1920 and were popular until the tv came. The way I found out about them was when I was going to scout camp in quebec in 2007 and our leader had The Star Wars radio drama on CD. We listened to them on the way up, and later our leader let me make copys of the cds. I just recently found out about other radio dramas and now im hooked. I really like the twilight zone radio dramas and the star wars ones. I downloaded the War of the Worlds which was a radio drama that got people scared because it was a fake news brodcast that said aliens landed on earth. I listened to it and see how people could of got scared. Anyways, I found Lord of the Rings radio drama and some Narnia radio drama. I think all of this audio should fit in nicely with my podcasts and audiobooks. Oh ya, I like to listen to these things when im supposed to be alseep. Its nice because it doesnt use light to wake up my grandparents like a psp does.

Today, I had to get up at 10 to go to the dentist. That is early in my book. It is also to early considering the fact that I went to bed at 2 am last night. So thats what, 8 hours of sleep? Actually, when you think about it, that's not that bad. 8 hours is above average, but still, when im used to going from 3am to 12 noon... BUT WAIT ya thats only 9 hours. So really, im not sure why i was so tired.

When I got to the dentist, my appointment was for 10:45. I didn't get in till around 11:20 and thats odd because usually im in really early. Anyways, I saw Nathan there, which probably means I won't live down what im about to tell you. When I was the lady called my name to go in, she said "Justine". My name is "JUSTIN" do you see an 'e' at the end, cause I don't. Dumb lady.

When I actually got into the dentist though, I was only in for about 2 minutes, so that's not too bad.

Also today, I moved the desk that was in the basement that was never used, up to my room where it might never get used. The only reason I like having a desk is because I prefer the feel of a desktop computer, but like the fact that you can carry around a laptop. So when I was in town, I bought a telephone cord extention. I need one of those because I still cant get high speed where I live and have to stick with dial up.

The other day, I downloaded some Twilight Zone radio dramas. Twilight Zone was an old show in the 50's that was famous for having a lot of plot twists and stuff like that. So these radio dramas are those remade for radio. The reason I like listening better is so that I don't have to watch. Its fun to lye in bed and listen. Anyways, Twilight Zone is a demented science fiction kind of thing so not everyone would like it I guess.

Now im off to play some cards with my grandparents so bye.

This weekend, I went to Maine with Jason. We stayed at the holiday inn in portland for 2 nights. Those beds were some small. Like halfway through the night, he was kicking me like crazy.  The first day, we ate at pizza hut, went swimming, and then went to bed. We woke up really early the next day and went to funtown-splashdown usa. Jason and i were smart and did all the rides early in the morning before the crowd started to come.  I think in total we did the roller coaster 7 times. And we did some other rides like the log flume 3 times, and these pitch dark slides 5 or 6 times. Then later, the lines were crazy long so it wasn't as fun. I saw this girl there who was all alone who looked exactly like this girl i know. A funny story at the theme park: We were driving the go karts, and it was the last lap and we came in. So this buddy is standing in the middle of the road telling everyone to go left, and i just took the feet out from under him. He got right mad and said watch where you're going buddy.  

Then, later on that day, we went to the mall. We went to best buy and where amazed at macs, then we went to the apple store and where more amazed, then finally we went to a sports store and where the most amazed. Then I started to get hungry so I went to one of my favorite fast food spots, taco bell. I got 3 soft tacos and jason got one chicken soft taco.  They where amazing. 

On the walk back to the hotel, we walked by a garbage can that had garbage that looked like someone stuck there hand in and had a rampage. So we were walking by it, and there was a skunk right beside it. Jason and I just ran like hell while laughing.

Today, I watched the fireworks, they were crappy, but I got to hang out with a lot of people I don't see everyday so that was fun. 

Today was another day. I watched Big Brother and got mad because ronnie left (thats good in one way but bad in another). And then Chima won HOH. The reason its bad ronnie got out is because my mom and i have this little contest going on where she has half the people and i have the other half. Ronnie was on my half so that sucks.

Anyways, I've been playing and watching a lot of baseball lately and i'm glad I joined baseball when I did. I think that baseball is better then the other spot I used to play (soccer) in some ways but worse in others.

Reasons baseball is better are:

1. I was won of the best in the soccer house league. (some may argue, but I scored probably an average of 3 goals a game, and pretty much carried my team [even though I must say, last year we had good defense]) so baseball gives me more of a challenge
   
2. Since you have to try out for the baseball team, the people that play are better.
3. There is more strategy in baseball
   

Reasons soccer is better:

1. Its fun to always be involed, because at some points in baseball (especially when you sit on the bench, not saying i do) it can be a little boring.
2. Its fun to pass the ball
3. Its fun to hear the people whine when you take the ball
4. Its fun to score goals
5. Its fun to take corner kicks
6. Its fun to score 4 goals a game that one time to give your team a 4-3 win

Thats all I have to say about those sports. Overall, I think both sports are good. Really, I think every sport is good, I don't care what it is. From hockey, to ping-pong, to curling, to volleyball, I like them all (except maybe swimming, im not a swimmer)

Now its time for me to list my top ten favorite sports (as of right this minute and not putting much thought into it)

1. Hockey - how can hockey not be number 1? you have the speed, skill, and ice. Oh ya, and physical contact. (especially when you play defense and piss people off by cross checking them in the back when they're in front of your goalie. THEY GET PISSED AND WHINE.)
2. Soccer - The ultimate summer sport, all you need is a ball. I already talked about this sport a bit so ya
3. Basketball - Though not really a contact sport in my opinon (unless of course you play lunchball) it still is a lot of fun to play on a team, in school, before gym class, or at my house. A good solid game
4. Baseball - Talked about this already
5. Volleyball - I had A LOT of fun playing volleyball on the school team, and I didnt think I'd like it as much as I did. Fun to play setter and set the plays.
   
6. Tennis - I like this sport alot, its fun to piss people off by putting loads of backspin on the ball.
   
7. Football - I dont play this and im not sure why. Ive played touch and tackle on the beach and stuff and think it would be fun to try this out for real sometime.
   
8. Ping-Pong - Its a smaller version of tennis thats harder then it looks
9. Curling - Had to add this in because there is alot of strategy, more then other sports. Even though its not a physical, its still fun to throw rocks
10. Ultimate - Theres something about this game that is fun, Ive only played it in gym class, and suck at throwing the frissbee, but I think it would be fun to have a league

So there, a blog post thats actually fairly half decent, and it was fun writing it.

Today, I woke up. Then I hacked my psp. It now can play roms of all sorts and do things it never could before YAY! Then I downloaded safari web browser and it looks pretty cool, but I doubt it's better then Opera. 

Yesterday, I took two online quizzes that gave me some interesting things about myself i didn't know before. One was the "World's Smallest Political Quiz"  It said that I am a centrist which means I agree with some parties on some things and some on others. But it said that I lean closer to the liberal ideology.  That means that I'm closer to a republican then a democrat (barrack obamas a democrat). That also means that I lean closer to the liberal party of canada then the conservatives (Steven harpers a conservitive.) so therefore, I believe against whoevers not in power. 

I wish that i'd get that email back, I really do.

Anyways, today I got up around 12, watched tv for an hour, went downstairs, ate breakfast, watched baseball, played 8 games of mancala, played ticket to ride, came upstairs and went on the computer for an hour, went downstairs and ate supper, came upstairs and went on the computer for an hour, watched big brother, played cards, and now im up here, on this, talking to jason and writing.

I have baseball at 10 in the morening which means I have to get up early. My blog posts are getting more and more boring by until I have something interesting to write about.

I've been thinking (something everyone should get around to doing) and i've realized that no one probably reads my blog. Therefore, I am going to have to keep writing (haha you probably thought I was gonna say something like: stop writing in this.) I like writing in this even though I think now one reads it. The reason I like writing in these is because it gives me something to do everyday at night. Also, Its good to have something to try to keep a schedule on and do everyday. And maybe someday, i'll read all my old posts and remember how stupid I was. Or maybe someday, I'll be famous and people will love to read my blog. Even though I highly doubt the famous thing. (speaking of famous, maybe i'll become famous on youtube. And speaking of youtube, I found the video of me singing on stage in grade 8 so i might just upload that).

Anyways, right now im not doing much, playing solitaire and listening to music, I figured I'd write a bit more. Right now im waiting for an email, but I don't think its gonna come. A web site about board games I use alot www.boardgamegeek.com has changed to www.geekdo.com and now has rpgs. I lost the game. I am using a pillow underneath my laptop so my legs don't get hot but for some reason it makes my typing a lot louder.

I haven't had much to write about the last couple days, I try to make this thing funny and some people probably dont like my sense of humor. Right now im just rambling on about nothing because im so bored, and the people that started to read this probably stopped ages ago. Oh, that desktop background I made yesterday is really, really useful. Its alot better then a blank screen. Anyways, I should go finish my solitare game so bye.
