Justin Woolley Presents:
Justin Woolley's Top Songs of the Decade
(or a song a year from the 00's)
Part 2

So yesterday, I did part 1 and gave you my favorite songs from 2000-2004. Now it's time to do the second and harder to choose part of the decade.

2005 - This is probably the hardest year. I have 26 songs in this year that are 9/10 or higher. Three are those are also 10/10. There's 6 Wolfmother songs,4 Green Day songs, 3 Fall Out Boy songs, and 2 Gorillaz songs. My number 1 has to be Woman by Wolfmother. Other good songs are Feel Good Inc. by Gorillaz, Dare by Gorillaz, Lips of an Angel by Hinder, Our Lawyer Made Us Change The Name of This Song So We Wouldn't Get Sued by Fall Out Boy, Dani California by Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Heaven by Los Lonely Boys.

2006 - Ya, call me gay, but my favorite song this year is by Justin Timberlake. What Goes Around Comes Around. Other good songs are When You Were Young by The Killers, I Write Sins Not Tragedies by Panic At The Disco, and Trapped in The Drive Thru by Weird Al Yankovic.

2007 - Not much question here. Stronger by Kanye West. Other good songs are The Pretender by Foo Fighters and Paralyzer by Finger Eleven. Also can't forger Thanks for The Memorys and This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arm Race by Fall Out Boy.

2008 - This was a year of pop. I'm going to give it to Hot N' Cold by Katy Perry. Second is Just Dance by Lady Gaga, and Third is Jizz In My Pants by The Lonely Island.

2009 - California Queen by Wolfmother. It's my only song with a 9 or higher, so it's my pick.

Justin Woolley's Top Songs of the Decade (or a song a year from the 00's)- PART 1

Justin Woolley Presents:
Justin Woolley's Top Songs of the Decade
(or a song a year from the 00's)
Part 1

I think that title pretty much explains itself. I like to really put a lot of information on everyone of my songs on mediamonkey, so it didn't take me much work to make this list. I'm just going to go through my playlist by the years, and say my favorite song of each year. At the end I might put a few honourable mentions. I'll also throw in some youtube links so then if you don't know the song, you can hear it.

2000 - The first year of the decade is already a hard choice, but I pick In The End by Linkin Park. It was close between this and Colt 45 by Afroman, but I think i'll remeber In The End in 20 years before I remeber Colt 45.

2001- Woah, take the toughness of last year and make it harder. I pick Good Ridance (Time of your life) by Green Day. At one point that was my favorite song, and maybe it still is, I'm not sure. Second place was Clint Eastwood by Gorillaz, a song I'm sure not many people have heard.

2002 - No question here. United States of Whatever by Liam Lynch.

2003 - Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes. Enough said.

2004 -  Hmm... tough choice. A punk rock song vs a rock song vs a soundtrack song vs a pop song. The punk rock song wins this one. American Idiot by Green Day is the winner. Other good songs where: All These Things That I've Done by The Killers (the rock song) Accidentally In Love by Counting Crows (soundtrack song) and Catch My Disease by Ben Lee (the pop song)

So, thats part 1. Click those links, tell me how bad of a taste in music I have, then stay tuned for Part 2.

I downloaded this program that shows lyrics scrolling on my screen as a song play. It's a good way for me to figure out the lyrics of the song without having to look it up everytime, because it downloads them automaticly. It's called minilyrics.

We're getting highspeed the 26th, I'm getting a ps3 asap and I'm getting the old computer. It's all looking pretty good right now. I think I'm gonna download this program where I can control both my laptop and the old computer I'm getting with one mouse and keyboard. I'm pretty excited about all this. I've decided to make the old computer run faster, that i'll install ubuntu and just dual-boot it with windows incase I need windows for anything.

Anyways, I've watched two movies recently which I could talk about.

The first movie was A Christmas Story. I think i've seen bits and pieces of this movie loads of times on tv, but I finally watched the whole thing in two music classes. It's a pretty good christmas movie, but defenitly isn't better then It's a Wonderful Life. I give it a 7.5/10

Second movie was Schindler's List. This movie was one on the Top 250 list. It's about this man named Oskar Schindler who saved jews by letting them work in his factory instead of being gased. It's a good feel good movie, but I think it is a bit overrated. I give it a 7.5/10 (imdb.com rated it a 8.9/10 and it was their 6th best movie as of Sept.28.2009.)

Hi, I have 10 minutes to write before I have to  go to bed, so I better get to it.

Today was an ok day. Math was boring, english was ok, gym was ok, lunch was good, music was probably the best class, and then french was boring.

Math was math. English we did some sort of test that americans supposedly have to do in 25 minutes. It took me 35 when taking my time, so I think that that isn't that much time. In phys.ed, we were in the class so we pretty much talked about guidance type stuff all class. During lunch I played basketball and lost big time. During music, I went over to the other side of the room to sit, and think it was better. The people over on the other side actually know a good song or two. I'll probably go sit there tomorrow again. French was french.

After school, I took the bus home, played rock band for a few hours, ate, went online for a few hours, and now im going to bed.

2 Films and a Dream

I watched 2 movies in a row yesterday that I want to talk about. They were both comedy movies, and both good in their own ways.

First one I watched was a movie that just came out recently. It's called the hangover. It was pretty good. It's about these guys who lose their friend in Las Vegas and their story to find him. It's a good movie, and has some funny parts. I don't laugh easy, and any comedy movie that can make me laugh out loud once is good. I give it a solid 7/10. (Imdb.com gave it an 8.0 and rated it there 239th best movie of all time as of September 28th 2009, which was the date I got the list and made it into a Word document.)

Second movie I watched was Life of Brian. It was made by the same people who made Monty Phython and The Holy Grail, and I rated that movie a 5/10. Anyways, this is about a man named Brian who is a jew at a time when the romans didn't like that. It's also a comedy, and I give this one a 7/10. (imdb.com gave it an 8.1/10 and rated it their 156th best movie of all time as of the same date as above.)

So, last night I had an interesting dream. I don't usually remeber my dreams, and when I do they usually are quite interesting. So, I think I was at some sort of scout camp or something somewhere in Maine. There was a lot of people there, probably around 1000. Anyways, they had a stage set up, and these presentations were going on. I was sitting next to a pretty blond headed girl who asked me what my name was and I said Justin. She seemed like a bubbly girl. Anyways, we started to talk and then by the end of the presentation we were holding hands. So later, we go for a walk and talk while holding hands. She says her family travels a lot and she wishes her family would stay in one place and that she really loves it in Maine. Then, all of the sudden, we walk down this hill and I see all of Walt Disney World. It was really really odd. Then, she says she loves Walt Disney World. I then kiss her. It was a pretty good kiss haha. Then, her dad walks by with an angry look on his face and tells his daughter it's time to go. I then say something like "nice dancing sir". Then I woke up.

It was an odd dream, very odd.

Time to write in my blog. Today, I really didn't do much. But, I guess I don't do that much any day unless I have school or some form of a sport. Anyways, my internet is down so I don't know when this blog post as going to go up. Well I mean obviously it's going to go up when the internet comes back up, it's just that I don't know when that's going to be.

Well, I got one of these necklaces for Christmas and it's called a dream capsule or something like that. It's sorta shaped like a mini bullet and it twists open. It comes with a little pen/marker thing and these little pieces of paper. So, what you're supposed to do is write your dreams or goals on the paper and then put the paper in the capsule and then you always wear your dreams with you. Well I don't know if what I wrote will happen, but it has been a goal of mine for awhile. Anyways, metal usually gives rashes on my skin, but this seems to not be giving me a rash and I've been wearing it for a day now.

I watched a movie today that was on my top 250 list finally. It was Pulp Fiction. Now, Pulp Fiction is a movie that has 3 completely different stories that fit together in the end in a way. It's a good movie, and I give it a 9/10 and as of now it's my 8th favorite movie ever. (On imdb.com it was given a 8.9/10 and is their 5th best movie of all time.)

I guess that's all I have to say for today, I have hockey practice tomorrow so that will give me something to do.
